anyone else got any bengals ? heres the few i have
no you have them all , and those nice standard ones !
There was a couple of packs of those Astra silver rain ones on ebay a few months back. They had gone before I could buy them. I really wanted to see them in action.
I've got one, it doesn't look the same as yours though for some reason.
Loads of the Red Bronco ones
I did try bidding on a couple of those but always lost out at the 'Mexican standoff' at the death. Of all the Bengal Matches I've ever used, these Astra Silver Rains were my favourite. They didn't last long (only a few seconds) but made a soft hiss as a mini cascade of silvery-white sparks seduced the eyes. Elegant little things.
In Barrow in Furness where I grew up, some folks talked about something called 'China Lights'. My mam said they were like a match that flared up in colour. I presume she was refering to Bengal Matches. Anyone ever heard of 'China Lights'?
I think it was a missionary station in the film The Sand Pebbles...nothing to do with pyro I know but hey!!
I have quite a few various boxes of these matches.
