The vid shows very little of the true splendour of this cake, it's a wonderful thing in the flesh
Yea it's hard to capture this effect well on camera, it does look loads better in person as do most fireworks, it makes it into my displays every time.
It is an amazing piece. Just wish more fireworks used that rich red charcoal tail effect.
Yea it's almost like a copper colour.
I had a batch of the old gold Shanghai candles about 4 years ago and I was expecting them to be the standard gold star and tail but they were like those in Lush - deep red/orange charcoal tails. I ordered more and just got the gold star and tail versions. Not sure if it was a dodgy batch or if I just got lucky but I'd buy them again oif they did them. I assume the Celtic Hong Kong gold candles are the gold star/gold tail variety and not the holy grail I'm looking for?
Sovereign mine gold to blue was the only other time I've seen that colour.
Still got 1 Sovereign gold to blue in the stash with a couple of colour to dragons.
Fired Lush the other evening i do like the dirty gold in this.
