New venue, strange days though
@Locky Smith any UK teams in ?
I always think they announce it too late for the british teams theres a lot to organise - we are going on 24 April in Malta for Easter anyway but were expecting Gozo now is Mqabba
We still don't know if 25 November factory is firing on 24th do we?
No official announcement about who is competing. Except that 25th nov will be firing in Mqabba. I'm gutted I can't get time off midweek then
Very, very tempted...
4th May is the mechanised ground fireworks.
Can't make any of the other dates but I'm tempted by this. There will also be a rooftop show fired by fireTek.
Are you going @MrDan?
Im tempted to try go for the ground fireworks. Gota try and get a passport and see what cash I have around by then.
If you do manage it mouse, try to get there Friday. Your free to look around the setup but not on Saturday. Keep Sunday free and we can visit a factory
Cheers for the heads up mate!
You really should go if you possibly can - priceless.
Small clip of the winning show by the 25th November factory.
Absolutely chuffed for these guys, a really nice bunch of blokes
And here's my video of the whole thing. It was a bit murky on the night just as the guys fired, unfortunately. The inspired choice of final music track used was Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi, the Finnish monster rockers who won Eurovision in 2006. I doubt you'll ever see it in another pyromusical competition!
some of that material was just stunning!, use of them wording was mint too, and timed perfectly.
Particularly liked them shells with reports before the stars appeared, usually the other way around isnt it?
No other words but spectacular.
Roll on June
@Locky Smith @blackbat @Damp Squib
Not jealous in the slightest!
I'm sure we'll tell you all about it...
Some lovely looking wheels ready for tonight...
