More Starlink

    I popped out to photograph the moon tonight and got more than I bargained for, a whole line of Starlink satellites lasting a good 10 mins or so, including a triangle of three. With all the coronavirus doom and gloom I don't think this latest batch have made the headlines, it's the first time I have seen a whole line like this and it's well worth turning out for. I did try and photograph them but too faint for my point and shoot camera but did get the half moon:

    Grrr... just checked the app and the sky is full of them. But also completely overcast. What a shame.

    Finally caught them, much greater spacing than I imagined. But I only had a small portion of clear sky. Bet it's great on a clear night.

    Coming over at 8:28 tonight. Looks clear but maybe a bit too light still.

    These are the times for the midlands, so give or take a few depending where you are.

    I could hardly see them too.
    The ones that went by earlier were brighter
