Few boxes for sale, £12.50 each
What year would these be please?
The BS early 90s type.
Thanks Jamie , had 3-2-1 zero been discontinued at this point?
Yes, they replaced the white label 3-2-1 zeros with plain red description label marked as garden fireworks banger as you should see in those boxes if any has been opened.
Did the performance improve at all , or were they just re- branded?
No not that much, just the same really, then in 1995 an awful
plastic type fuse was added which replaced the traditional blue touch papered spollette fuse and often a few failed to go off.
Thanks for the info mate , around the late 80's I seem to recall a yellow banger with a red top , any info on them Jamie.
Erm..... no doesn't ring a bell mate, possibly more than likely an import, having been standard I grew up with in the 80s I wasn't familiar with any other fireworks of the time.
The Feistel / Benwell banger which used a prime rather than BTP was pale-ish yellow and a tad louder than the British item from Std. Flash was / is still available in European pyro., so the product was likely engineered for that market ( case integrity etc ) then toned down for UK legality. J.
Thanks for the info, if it's the one I remember it had a domed red top that you lit.
Thank you , yep they are the one's that I remember , I seem to remember them being quite popular in the latter 80's .
