  6. I used to buy a box of these every year, first the all orange then the three blue and three orange, the orange ejected strobing silver stars and the blue a white snowflake comet, nice little rockets.

Don’t you mean a year earlier Steve?, my guess is 1973/74 as
didn’t they bring in the size coding in 1975?.

That is obvious Steve lol, I was going with the actual dates as
they used the pricing system up to 1974 and then the size
    coding from 75 on.

standard ran these for decades , very basic rocket Jamie . I remember selling the 5p ones in the 70s , which I used to get a bag full for nowt.
my auntie worked at standard , the workers there used to get free fireworks every November . I would then take my brass to the local shop
    and buy bigger stuff .

Thus fullfilling the main part of the Yorkshire code..

I seem to remember in the 80s they sold slightly bigger loose version as my parents
once bought me the orange one, I remember it was a bit bigger than the ones in
the boxes but not quite as big as the size 3s that I was used to getting, they wasn’t
glued together quite well as I remember the motor fall out of it just leaving the stick
and label wrapping intact, this happened with one of the smaller ones I have today
    in the blue box.

Good try, not yet lost me marbles............ in fact I found them today whilst getting everything ready for the show at the weekend........ so guess I must have lost them as today I found them again.......... some years back I bought a bag of marbles which as a joke I said I would keep in my desk so I couldn't ever be told I'd lost my marbles...... at some stage they got moved , so technically I had lost my marbles for several months now........ but I'm all right now........ o_O:D
