Just a post to say thanks to @Fireworks South Wales for a few deals during isolation. There are a few more pieces but they’ve already been moved to storage elsewhere but here are some of the bits I had. ( the glacier rising cone is in the pic for size comparison as I thought the Celtic piece is excellent so can’t wait to try out the klasek one). Cheers.

When I get a chance I’ll un box them, I had the trio of them from @Fireworks South Wales. They’ve always looked like good quality boxes for me.

  5. Those mega mines are really good, are they the version with the salutes?

The salute versions were a mistake from the very first batch and are still the loudest consumer firework I have ever used.
I have bought several since but always got the crackling version. :(

  7. Yeah, I bought a couple of them 3 years ago and they were a very nice surprise!

    They were VERY loud.

It would be great if they are the ones with the salutes. Any way to tell other than lighting them? I ain’t looked at the description on them yet.

  9. I think you need to go by the year. early ones had salutes and the later ones had dragon's eggs. I think from 2015-16 onwards but not too sure on that

I will certainly check that out now.

My salute version was used on GFN 2014 so 2014 or earlier I'd say. I bought more in 2015 that were dragon eggs.

Mega mine salute version at the end of this clip. The video doesn't do it justice. The echo was unbelievable and I live in Cambridgeshire - flat as a pancake.

Not sure where you can check the manufacture date but the fuse cover has 2014 on it? 6845E354-3939-480C-88C8-E8D533FC4621.jpeg

Sometimes you may find the production year under the Manufacturer and Batch No details. In any case it looks like your examples are later. :)

For better or worse the latest Hallmark boxes have different contents and a greater piece count.

I discuss the changes at 0:50 here-

Are those little 20mm cakes in them? Not bad at all for small boxes.

Greater piece count is not usually a good thing in boxes.
