Bought a Typhoon today, is pretty small but looks like a nice little family box for small kids.

Ok, tested some bits. But here’s my thoughts on the Typhoon Box.

    The Box felt good quality.
The individual items were in the main good quality with nice colours and effects, although a few were very short.
The pinwheel was a total fail, it wouldn’t spin, then fell apart..........
3 Bengals in this Box is too many, I would have rather had a couple more fountains.
The strobe, although very good, is very bright, I wouldn’t want kids watching this from 8m, plus a strobe in a small family box probably isn’t needed, a second wheel would be better (especially if it works:p)

To be frank it needs to get better than that to avoid being on par with 'the rest of the cheap boxes'.

Fingers crossed for the the remaining pieces.

Hate to say it, but some of tje best bangers ive had were them pinwheels blowing up. Totally ringing ears and blind at about 5m.

Most come with too small a nail fitted.
Couple of washers behind also helps.
Now a bits late now tho....

  11. That wheel would've been pretty standard for me, i have about an 80% failure rate with wheels.

I missed the burst on the single shot, but it was decent! :)

  14. My wheels both failed- I think one span for a little while then stopped, the other sort of set on fire. Would have been a great wheel though if it worked.
short duration was one of the things I noticed as well with Viper, intense but sort of just that little bit too short.

Go on k9 girl with the selection box testing, have u tried to bend the nail down a tad so the wheels are resting on the head letting gravity keep it from rubbing on the wooden mounting point.

    Apologies for the wordingo_O

A small dab of oil or washing up liquid on the nail helps. Never had a Chinese pinwheel fail on me tbh. With the nail tapped in gently and pointed downward a little they have always been fine for me.

I thought the strobe was the best thing about this.
